About One Way Ministries
One Way Ministries is a street ministry founded in 1981 by Terry Joe (TJ) Roberson. One Way is based on the scripture St. John 14:6. The ministry is unique in the area's God places us to preach the gospel of His son, Jesus Christ to people from all walks of life.
About the Minister:
Evangelist TJ Roberson
TJ Roberson was born again at the age of 11 years old, and at the age of 21 he audibly heard the voice of God. God spoke to him and said "Follow me, and all will be well." TJ ran from that call.
He told God he would sing, but he would not preach. God put him in the belly of the whale (spiritually) for 6 long months. TJ then surrendered to that call, and immediately God healed him. Then in prayer he asked God "Lord what do you want me to do?" God answered and said "Feed My Sheep."
In Feb.1981 he was commissioned by God to do the work of an Evangelist, and to preach on the streets in places most ministers will not go, and One Way Ministries was started. The name, and ministry is based on the scripture St.John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
One Way Ministries is also a gospel singing ministry. TJ Roberson has been singing since 1981 and was later joined by his wife Tammy.
About The Ministry
Hello, and welcome to One Way Ministries/street ministry. Where we have been preaching the gospel since 1981. At One Way Ministries we are committed to God, and to....doing His service. Going out on the streets preaching the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ to the lost, and hurting people reaching people of all ages, nationalities, religions, and life styles.
God has commissioned us to go out on the streets searching for that lost sinner or that one that has gone astray (lost his or her way), and to bring them back into His fold. He sends us out to flea markets, street corners,Wal-Mart store fronts, grocery store fronts, resturaunts, parks etc. We are dedicated to go with Gods help and by His strength to where ever He sends us. God has annointed Evangelist Roberson, and commissioned him to speak only the things of God. People have to hear the truth, and love always speaks the truth. Sometimes the truth hurts, and sometimes its not pretty, but without the truth we will perish.
God has also commissioned Evangelist Roberson to preach 2nd Chronicles 7:14 to his people. Jesus said in Luke 10:2-4 The harvest is truly great, but the laborers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth laborers into His harvest. Go your ways: behold I send you forth as lambs among wolves. Carry neither purse, nor script, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.
We are based out of Charlotte NC, but the ministry is not limited to Charlotte. We travel to NC, and SC as well as Virginia, and Tenn. Where ever God sends us we want to go. You can contact us at 704-605-6551 for information on becoming a partner in ministry.
